Ice Risk Assessment

 

C‑CORE leads the world in understanding and quantifying ice risk for offshore structures, using probability-based risk assessment for sea ice and iceberg contact with marine structures, seabed installations and pipelines in ice-prone waters. 

C-CORE has broad experience in ice research, including in-situ measurements to characterize the physical environment, as well as field and lab experiments to measure ice strength properties and loading.
