Critical Infrastructure Monitoring

 

C-CORE monitors critical infrastructure for integrity and stability using remote sensing technology which can detect ground movement of less than a centimetre.

Space-based sensors augmented by practical, unobtrusive C-CORE-designed reflectors and InSAR techniques are used principally for identifying problem areas.

This technology can be used to monitor stability of a wide variety of infrastructure, including pipelines.

Ground-based SAR (GBSAR) is used for even higher-resolution monitoring and precision measurement on a continuous basis for better characterization of problems that may have been identified.
