Dennis Clarke, B.A., LLM.; Goodland Buckingham
Dennis Clarke holds a B.A. from Memorial University, and Bachelor of Laws from University of New Brunswick and a Master of Laws from the University of Washington. As a Partner in McInnes Cooper’s St. John’s office, his practice involves general corporate matters, mergers and acquisitions. Dennis was lead counsel to Fisheries Products International Limited in its $300 million divestiture of assets to High Liner Foods Incorporated and Ocean Choice International.
Mr. Clarke represents several junior mining and oil & gas companies, providing advice on corporate structure, financing, joint operating agreements, farm-in and farm-out agreements and regulatory issues.
He also practices general environmental law, with an emphasis on matters related to contaminated site clean-up, provincial waste management initiatives and obligations, marine environmental law, and regulatory compliance. Dennis is listed in Canadian Legal Lexpert® Directory, and Best Lawyers in Canada has recognized him for his practices in Corporate Law, Energy and Natural Resources Law, and Mergers and Acquisitions since 2006. He joined the C-CORE Board in 2016.
